Picking up where we left off

We apologize for the delay in posts, the pilgrimage left us exhausted (but happy!) at the end of each day, and there wasn't always wi-fi available. Still, it's never too late to share our experience, right?


The next stop on our journey was the bautiful city of Leon, to see the cathedral.


Then we stayed at Valladolid, where we celebrated mass the following morning at an Augustinian Monastery.

Later, we learned about prayer outside of the tomb of St. John of the Cross


And then to El Valle de los Caidos, easily the most somber and intimidating church we saw. It was a very moving visit.
