Some of us are finishing up with midterm exams, others are busy working diligently at our jobs, and still others are starting up a new semester!
We have a lot of things planned for the next several months...
Monthly Pro-Life Prayer Vigil: Saturday, January 28th
We've committed ourselves to praying at the last abortion clinic in our Diocese once a month. Same time (6am-12pm). Meet in the Church parking lot for 5:50am.
SAYG Meeting: Thursday, February 9th
Lots to discuss/plan! Bring your calendars, notebooks, and ideas! Starts with a Holy Hour at 5:15. Meeting begins at 6:30 and ends by 8:30pm.
Fat Tuesday Fun Day!: Tuesday, February 21st
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 22nd! We're going to go BOWLING on the 21st. It's during winter break, so it shouldn't be a problem...
We're meeting at the parking lot at 2pm!!! After bowling, we'll be heading to the parish hall for some food and games.
Service Day: Saturday, February 25th
Christ teaches us to put our faith into action! We'll start the day with Mass at 8am, followed by breakfast. From there, we'll head to elderly parishioner's homes that need some working on... Whether it be to help them clean out a basement, or to help clean their kitchen, we'll be there as Christ's helpers to spread His love, joy, and compassion! After we're done we'll head back to the parish hall for some sharing of experiences and of course, food! MORE INFO COMING...
Ignite!: Saturday, March 3rd
Our first ever Ignite was a huge success! So huge, in fact, that we're planning on having another one =). Ignite
will start with dinner @ 6pm and will end at 9pm.
Cost: FREE!!!
